About Me

Sookham Singh is an Edmonton based artist and Business Analyst. Born and raised in India, much of her work is inspired by the rich and colorful culture of India. She started drawing as early as three and finished her first oil painting as she turned thirteen.

She is self-taught and passionate about painting her thoughts and inspirations. Sookham has a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and started her career as a Systems Engineer, continuing her love for painting side by side. She moved to Edmonton, Canada, to start a new life, to explore new opportunities. She tries to incorporate her technical skills to manage her online presence and business.

Colorful and feminine, her style features detailed drawings with vivid color palette. She combines pencil, acrylics and digital techniques to create pieces with unique flair. She loves painting portraits and fashion illustrations inspired by everyday life, people, current trends and strong women.
